Our Ghana shipments have a special significance: our very first shipment was hand-delivered by our founder, John Broach, to a Ghana-Outlook clinic in Ho, directed by Mr. Joseph Achana . Indeed, Mr. Achana's work in Ghana and John's volunteer work in these clinics during college - and his first-hand experience with poverty and severe lack of resources - was his inspiration for our program. What started with a few boxes carried along on John's trip has grown into a solid relationship with our contact in Ho. We are now a steady supplier of donated equipment to Ghana - we ship on a semi-annual basis and are always expanding our inventory. Most recently, our former Executive Director, Cheryl Middaugh, spent six weeks volunteering with Mr. Achana and seeking the development of an AIDS project.
