In any armed conflict, the civilian cost will be high. The continuing war in Iraq is no exception. In response to the great needs of civilians in Iraq in spring of 2003, GlobeMed worked with the American Friends Service Committee (AFSC) to ship approximately 75 kilos of health supplies to Iraq . This included two boxes of tooth paste, one large box of soap, and one large box of shampoo.
